Dunes & Desert - Self Drive Tour

Upon arrival at Windhoek International, guests will be met and assisted with collecting their rental vehicle. Depart Windhoek towards the Namib Naukluft Park and Desert Homestead which is situated 35km from Sossusvlei, and conveniently located for easy access to all the sights and activities of the south. Enjoy the sweeping views of the Nubib Mountains and the traditional farm cooked meals served alfresco on the veranda. Beautifully groomed horses provide guests with an exciting way to explore the area. For a slightly more sedate experience, guests can join the evening sundowner drive to an elevated viewpoint.

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at Desert Homestead. Drive north via the Gaub und Kuiseb Passes towards Swakopmund, and the Secret Garden where you will overnight. Swakopmund is known as the “Jewel of Namibia”, tucked between ocean and desert. Optionally join a Living Desert Tour or a Mola Mola Dolphin Cruise on the second day of your stay.
